What is the simplest programming language to learn to create a website?

I've purchased a domain name and now want to create a website. I know learning a programming language is quite a long process but I still was wondering what was the easiest one to learn. Thx.

I recommend PHP. I use PHP on my website. It did not take long to learn (about 3-5 weeks). Also, if you have not done it yet, learn Javascript. A combination of Javascript and PHP will make your website strong. You can find PHPand Javascritpt tutorials at http://w3schools.com.
