Question by Collie: Is "The Proposition" not one of the greatest Westerns ever made?
I loved that they made it take place in Australia. The film just worked. Definitely a Western for people who don't like Westerns.

I thought it was good, but not sure I would go so far as to say it was the best. It had a different story line that worked well. Nick Cave's music was good too. It was a bit disappointing it did not do better at the box office in Australia.
