How do I reference a discussion using the Harvard system?

Question by Redjay: How do I reference a discussion using the Harvard system?

I'm studying marine biology, and would like to reference a discussion with a qualified marine biologist I know in one of my essays. However, I'm unsure how to reference it in the Harvard system.

I would assume that you'd do it exactly the same way as any other academic article - (Surname, Year) with the marine biologist's surname and the year in which the discussion took place, and then list the discussion as a source in your bibliography.
