Don't focus on cheap as your criteria, focus on quality results. Try to obtain data on the accuracy of the meter & strips. The strips must match the meter (sounds like you knew that). Then make sure each strip gives a good result. This is very important for your health & wallet. A bad reading will cause a re-test, re-stick, or wrong action in medication. I believe "Roche" Acu-Check brand has the best products.
