Question by teamweiss: Where can I find or compile a list of Erotic writers throughout history?

I'm doing a paper and wanted to try to find erotic writers from different time periods but all I can find are writings from two people Caligula and the Marquis De Sade. If there is no definative list (which I suspect) I'm willing to do some leg work if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Well you could start with the banned books list. Yes books can be banned for other reasons than erotic.
