I want to get a blackberry and i was planning on getting it off ebay and activating it at home but my internet is blocked on my current phone. When i activate the blackberry will it still require me to have internet even when the internet is already blocked. My carrier is verizon.

If your internet is blocked, I don't think the blackberry will do anything except work as a regular dumb phone. So unless you want a blackberry that works like a regular dumb phone, you are going to have to tell Verizon to unblock your Internet, and that probably will mean you'll have to pay them more too.
